Do you require a contract?
No. No commitment, no lock-in, no minimum term. Two ways to work with us: a one-off project for a flat fee, or a monthly retainer for ongoing growth work. Cancel the retainer any month with no penalty. Even on the project route, "done" means kaizen passes continue until both you and we agree the site is solid for handoff.
Just a site build, no retainer?
Yes. Most sites go live within a week. Complex e-commerce stores with logged-in members and the full clinical content engine take about a month. Flat fee, you own the codebase outright. "Live" doesn't mean we vanish either: kaizen passes continue after launch until both you and we agree the site is solid for handoff. That polish phase usually takes another month.
How long until I see results?
Your site itself is usually live within a week (about a month for full e-commerce with members and content). After that, paid results land fastest: ads, attribution data, and booking flow are working within weeks. Organic search is slower because Google ranking is an in-club they don't let just anyone into: a mature domain with a healthy backlink profile can start ranking new articles within six months, but a fresh domain typically sits in the sandbox for around a year before Google trusts it enough to rank, unless you're feeding it ad traffic in the meantime. The compound effect across all channels usually shows clearly by month twelve, and year two often doubles year one.
Do you buy backlinks?
Never. No link farms, no blog networks, no paid placements that aren't disclosed properly, none of the dodgy stuff that ranks for a quarter and then gets penalised. The actual link building we do is the legitimate kind: industry directories, professional listings, citation registers, and genuine outreach to real publications and editors, run through Causeway. Slower than buying links, but the rankings don't evaporate when Google's next core update lands.
Can I keep my existing tools?
Usually no. The reason your current attribution is broken is six tools that don't talk to each other. We replace them with one system that does. If there's a tool that's truly core to your operations, we'll discuss integrating rather than replacing.
What if I only want one channel, like SEO?
For the retainer, no. The compound effect comes from integration: ad copy sharpens around the keywords that content is ranking for; booking data tells us which campaigns produce paying customers. If you want SEO only, a specialist firm will serve you better than we will. Site builds, on the other hand, we do as standalone projects all day.
What industries do you work with?
Healthcare practices, professional services, high-LTV B2C. If your average customer is worth more than £1,000 across the relationship, we're probably a fit. If you sell low-margin commodities at volume, we're not.
What if I stop working with you?
Your codebase, your customer data, your accounts: all yours. The sovereign tools we deploy stay with you under the Wilderness Interactive Open License. If you ever stop working with us, you walk away with everything we built.
Is there a guarantee?
No. We don't think guarantees serve marketing well. The proof is in the trajectory: month one versus month twelve. The case studies show what that trajectory tends to look like. If the numbers don't impress you, don't hire us.
